Having been called to the ministry of the Lord, it has become our desire that we should impact the people around us with the love of God through his son Jesus Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit.

appointed us divinely The Lord to be in the Department of law at Uganda Christian University so that we may glorify His name. It is our prayer that one day; the world will see a generation of highly qualified born again lawyers in the Judiciary, Private law firms as well as Public law firms, a people with a difference who can stand for justice just like King Solomon did.

We, the members of the Uganda Christian University Law fellowship, aware of the potential the Lord has endowed in us to serve him, and due to the great energy and creativity amidst challenges of the Legal profession, and being committed to our calling, profession and the great commission of Jesus Christ in our generation.

The Law Fellowship is privileged to hold a welcome tea party for the 1ST years tomorrow, Friday 24th in Thelma Hall from 7.pm to 10pm.

We, take the pleasure to welcome you all to this function, in physical and spiritually!
It is a blessing to have our little brothers and sisters join us in this global community demanding Profession!
And our prayer is that their entry into the profession be to the Glory and Honor of God through pursuance of a God centered purpose!

IBANDA MSSION A SUCCESS!

Glory to God for all the testimonies!!!!!!!

On 29th August to 5th September, UCU Law Fellowship was out for a mission to Ibanda District at Igorora town hosted by Igorora Redeemed Church under pastor M. Frank.
We had a great time of ministry involving;
- door-to-door preaching conducted in groups of 4 missioners with an interpreter
- Open Air Crusade for 5 days every afternoon
-Charity work extended to an elderly family in form of roofing aid.

We extend appreciation to whosoever, contributed and stood with us to have this mission a success! May God richly bless you exceedingly abundantly above what you ask or think/imagine of!

IBANDA MISSION - 28th- August-2010

The Law Fellowship in obedience to the great commission is organizing a mission to western Uganda(Ibanda). from the 28th of August to 5th of September. The Law Fellowship holds missions and over the previous years, we have been to Pader which is in Northern Uganda, Rukungiri, and Kisumu in western Kenya.
The Lord wants to use us to reach the unreached souls in diffrent parts of the world and He has proved faithful in all that we have done as it is written in phillipians 1:6 that,
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ".
we are confident of this and we trust the lord to use us for His good. you can support us through prayer, encouragement, and financially as we take the gospel to the hurting world.

A CALLING TO BE SET APART BY PAUL AGABA

A calling to be set apart by Paul Agaba
1st corithians 15:33.....do not be decieved! bad company corrupts good morals, it is a calling to christians to flee from bad company, the bible continues to say in 2nd corithians 6:14-15 thatDo not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?, God is calling us to live setapart apart lives, this does not mean that we isolate our selves from the sinners but the bible warns us from being like them and it is our duty to bring them to Christ, it is important for us to influence the world to salvation if we need to be the world changers that God wants us to be. jesus came not to condemn us but He came that a sinner may be found and brought back into His loving arms, and it is our duty to reach out to the lost christ went before us and we need to imitate His example. God bless you as you seek God to empower you so that you can impact our generation.

THE LAW FELLOWSHIP FUNDRAISING DINNER ON THE 06/11/2009

This was done in a fundraising dinner at Nawab Restaurant on the rooftop of garden city mall that attracted UCU law alumni, well-wishers and members of the legal fraternity of Kampala.
The fellowship also used the same function to raise awareness and get support for an upcoming evangelism mission to Juba and Yambio in Southern Sudan.
The money raised, however, is far from the much needed USh20.5 million for the public address system.
"We wish to have that public address system by the time we go to South Sudan, which is sometime in April next year," said Kenneth Mollo, a final year student of Law and also the association's chairperson.
"As we speak now, Charity Bang'be is already in Juba doing the ground work, she is there doing both spiritual and general mapping of the place because we are going to be there for ten days so we need to plan our time and visits well," Mollo added.
Bang'be is the association's vice chairperson and is also a final year Law student.
Presently the association's leadership is in talks with other associations so as to have a bigger presence in Sudan.
"We are in talks with people from a medical background so that while we provide free legal aid, the medics could provide medicines and together we could provide evangelism all at the same time." Mollo said.
UCU law fellowship students have been to a number of places before doing ministry and free legal advice. In Uganda they have been to Nebbi, Busia, Tororo, Pader, and Rukungiri among other towns while in Kenya, they visited Kisumu early this year.

the power of declaration by Paul Agaba.

job 22:28... you will declare a thing and it shall be established for you.things may be impossible but the name of Jesus makes all things possible. it is important to declare good things upon our lives because God has a portion of goodness for us, His word says in psalms 23 that surely His goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in the house of the lord forever, so if we need to see God's goodness and also see things that we declare manifest, then we need to keep in the presence of God while we declare His mysteries. and we shall be assured that through His word, God will come out for us.you have the power to bring the what may have failed to pass by the power of your declaration, when we declare negative things, our attitudes become negative , our abilities are also ensnared and we cant achieve anything practically, will we begin to declare God's goodness in our lives today?

ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS

• Meeting together through weekly fellowships as the committee decides.

• Holding prayer retreats and any other retreats as the fellowship members suggest.

• Holding annual missions to different parts of the world depending on God’s guidance through the committee.

• Holding evangelistic activities like school ministry, hospital ministry, and any other evangelistic activities.

• Any other activities as may be necessary for the smooth running of the fellowship

• Serving with the chaplaincy through leading community worship, Sunday service and any other activity as the chaplaincy may assign.

• Community focused projects which are aimed to empower the members of the community aimed at sensitizing them of their rights; that is human (children and women’s rights).

• Youth empowerment through sports and other recreational activities for their development.
